GHSS Kiphire felicitates HSSLC, HSLC students

KIPHIRE — Government Higher Secondary School, Kiphire, held a felicitation programme for the successful HSLC and HSSLC students at the school’s indoor auditorium on Tuesday.

During the programme, the school principal, YP Singh, congratulated all the students who appeared the HSLC and HSSLC exams for giving their best efforts and clearing the exams. Stating that a student’s life is a very crucial period of decision making, the principal encouraged them to be cautious and wise in all their choices in life, be it subjects or friendship.

He also exhorted that a person cannot grow without any struggle in life saying that ‘success belongs to those who don’t give up despite failures in their path.’

“Don’t think of yourself any less than other students or friends around you,” remarked Sethricho, the class teacher of Class 12, and cited the examples of government schools from Mokokchung and Dimapur, which have performed well in recent years.

“We ought to work hard and learn from them,” he added.

Altogether, 88 students appeared in Class 12 examination out of which 73 students cleared the exam with more than 20 students securing in first division.

As for the HSLC exam, a total of 61 students appeared out of which 10 passed.

The successful students were awarded cash prizes and certificates.
