Dimapur, March 3 (EMN): The 22nd sports week of Government High School (GHS), Phusachodu concluded on Friday March 3 at its school ground with Col Rajat Tyagi, Commandant, 9 Assam Rifles as the chief guest.
The concluding day of GHS, Phusachodu sports meet witnessed march past by students and folk tune by Phesachodu Youth officials which was the main attraction of the event.Col Rajat Tyagi in his speech said Government High School is an ever growing school in Phek district and shall see enormous growth in times to come. He also impressed upon the importance of games and sports in a student’s life and wished that many PT. Ushas and Dhayanchands come out of Government School to represent India in the Olympics. He also advised the students to excel in academics along with games and sports and make use of all the available resources to showcase their talents. He also promised to provide requisite assistance to the School in furthering their growth.
