Dimapur, Dec. 7 (EMN): Genshin Impact is going to get a new 1.2 patch on December 23, 2020, and the update will bring a host of new features to the open-world role-playing game by miHoYo. We expect miHoYo to bring new aspects and much-needed quality of life changes to the game with the update.
The 1.2 patch is also rumoured to bring a new playable area, quests, events and characters to Genshin Impact. However, these are just rumours and the developers have not officially confirmed anything except for Dragonspine, the game’s third region.
The new playable area, Dragonspine, is a region supposedly covered in snow and is expected to be added to the game via a new in-game event. Another Genshin Impact leak suggests that the new update will bring two new characters to the game. The characters are: Ganyu, a Cryo-element character and Albedo, a Geo-element character. Given that the character leaks for update 1.1 had actually turned out to be true, we can expect that the two leaked characters for 1.2 patch might actually happen.
