Dimapur, July 21 (EMN): Earlier today, miHoYo released Genshin Impact‘s much anticipated 2.0 update called “The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia.” Genshin Impact players can download the latest update on all platforms, including PC, iOS, PS4, and PS5.

The new update brings three new characters into the Genshin Impact roster and makes the region of Inazuma fully accessible to all players. Players can also unlock the electro version of the main character.

The three new playable characters are Kimasato Ayaka, Yoimiya and Sayu. Players can obtain the new characters through the in-game banner system. We had previously written about the new character leaks and you can read it by clicking this link.

Ayaka is the eldest daughter of the Kamisato Clan and a five-star cryo user. Her abilities include Kamisato Art: Hyouka, Kamisato Art: Senho and Kamisato Art: Soumetsu. She has incredible Cryo DPS damage and may rival Xiao’s DPS output at the time of writing.

Yoimiya is a five-star pyro character and the owner of “Naganohara Fireworks.” She is considered to be Inazuma’s best pyrotechnician. Her abilities include Niwabi Fire-Dance and Ryuukin Saxifrage.

Sayu is one of the four-star characters in Yoimiya’s Tapestry of Golden Flame banner. Her abilities include Yoohoo Art: Fuuin Dash and Yoohoo Art: Mujima Flurry.

Apart from the new playable characters, Genshin Impact’s new 2.0 update makes the region of Inazuma open to all players to explore. Expect brand new story-related quests and events in the coming weeks including the Thunder Sojourn event which will be going live for a limited time. The Thunder Sojourn event will go live on July 22 and players can obtain a free Beidou through the event.

Players can also obtain new four-star weapons as well as five-star versions of both the bow and the sword with the new 2.0 update.

It makes me happy to say that the new 2.0 update finally brings the much needed cross-save feature into Genshin Impact. Players can now save their progress across multiple devices and platforms.

In addition to the new characters and features, the new 2.0 update will also let players imbue the main character with Electro elemental powers. Players can achieve this by interacting with the Inazuma Statue of Seven and then clicking on the “Resonate with Electro” option.
