Dimapur, October 29 : The GBs Union of Dimapur have warned of prosecution against people found to be responsible for ‘irregularities’ in issuing a number of governmental certifications including ‘indigenous’ certificates, PAN card, and driving licences.
The union issued a note on Saturday noting irregularities stated to have issued by “government un-appointed GBs.”
The union stated to have come to know ‘from reliable sources’ that there were “some irregularities” in the issuance of “PRC/RC/ST/Indigenous / lC /A-card / PAN card / driving licence / bank account etc., etc., certificate to the public by government un-appointed GBs and discharge GBs by using official seal and writing pad of the authority concerned which is illegal.”
GBs are warned that if discrepancies are found, stern action would be taken against them “according to the Dirnapur GBs Union constitution.”
