Dimapur, May 19 (EMN): Kohima police manning Khuzama Inter-State police check gate, while conducting routine checking and frisking of vehicles, intercepted one vehicle (Chevrolet Sail) bearing registration number NL07C-8600 and recovered approximately 140 kilos of contraband ganja worth Rs 7 lakh in the national market.
One person identified as B Paona (21), son of Baole of Tungam Afu village under Tadubi sub-division, Senapati, was arrested in this connection. SDPO and PRO Atu Zumvu said a regular case has been registered with Khuzama Police Station against him for conducting further investigation.
