Very few people know what gadget to buy when it comes to gifting your loved ones, and with Christmas around the corner, you can either go with the traditional pork and cake or you can buy one of these gadgets and they are sure to love it. All the products mentioned below are available on online websites such as eBay, Amazon or others.

Smartwatch
These babies cost anywhere from Rs. 10,000 all the way up to 40,000 or even more. There are a ton of them to choose from and if you are buying one for an Android user, you can either go for the Moto360 which will cost anywhere from Rs. 12,000 – 24,000, or the Samsung Gear S2 which costs around Rs. 30,000. These watches run Android wear OS, they look beautiful and they come with a touchscreen display. But with these kind of displays, the biggest problem would be battery life since they usually last a maximum of a day and a half with minimal usage and this is where watches like Pebble takes the prize. The Pebble time is a cute device and it has a color e-paper display. You control the interface using physical buttons on the side and there is no touchscreen but the battery will last almost a month! and that is a huge advantage since you won’t have to charge it every night. It works with both Android and iOS and will cost around Rs. 10,000. Another product by Pebble is the Pebble Round, which is a beautiful round e-paper display. Although the battery will last only around a week, it is really light and beautiful and it costs Rs. 13,600. For Apple iPhone users, there is none better than the Apple Watch but this luxury of a watch will cost anywhere from Rs. 30-40,000.

Boogieboard
This one is a perfect gift for anyone who takes notes. It is really useful for students or even moms. Boogieboards have been around for a long time and yet they are not as popular as most devices although their usefulness cannot be argued with, it is the size of a small clipboard, the models range from 8.5 Inch to 9.7 inch. It uses a display similar to that of a Kindle and the battery life is astonishing. With the boogieboard, you can take nots anywhere, anytime. It comes with its own pen and with it, you can write and re-write unlimited number of notes. Some models come with its own inbuilt memory and you can store your notes in the device itself, these models cost around Rs 12,000 and there are the basic models which costs around Rs. 4,000 but you won’t be able to store your notes with those.

Smartband
The perfect gift for fitness enthusiasts, Smartbands are small, their batteries lasts for a long time and they work great in tracking the number of steps you take, your heart rate, the amount of calories you burn and more. There are many smartbands to choose from and the cheapest reliable smartband would be the Intex Fitrist which cost just Rs. 799. It comes with a small display which will display all the information you need and it does what a smarband is supposed to do i.e. track your movements. Another smartband which has really grabbed attention these days is the Mi Band 2 which costs Rs. 2,000. If you want to spend a little more and get the best of the best, you can check out Jawbone UP3 which will cost around 12,000 or the Fitbit Alta for Rs. 10,400. All these smartbands work with both Android and iOS phones..

Headphones
Headphones are always a great gift since all headphones sound different. While most people want a lot of bass on their headphones, a clear sounding headphone is hard to beat and when it comes to clarity, there is none better than the long standing champion and extremely popular Audio Technica M50x which costs Rs. 10,800. But if you are looking for a bluetooth headphones, the Sennheiser RS 120 is a great choice and it costs just Rs. 7,000. If you want a high quality noise cancelling headphones, then obviously Bose takes the crown with the QuietComfort-35 which costs Rs. 29,400.

Kindle
Yes, a lot of people already own a kindle these days but for those who don’t have one, it makes a great gift especially if they love reading. There are other e-book readers but the Amazon library is the largest and Kindle works best with it. There are a few models available and the basic Kindle without a backlight costs Rs. 6000 and Kindle Paperwhite which comes with its own backlight for reading in the dark costs Rs. 11,000. There are other models as well such as Voyage, Oasis and they offer more features but they can cost anywhere from 13,000 all the way up to 24,000 Rupees.
