Dimapur, Jan.24 (EMN): Peren defeated Mon by nine wickets to secure a berth in the finals of the G Rio memorial U-19 (Boys) inter-district tournament .
Peren will now face Dimapur in the finals, after topping Group B by winning all the three league games.
Batting first, Mon could score only 58 runs before being bowled out in 16.4 overs. Ranjen and Roko Nyekha claimed three wickets each for Peren.
Peren won the match in just 10.2 overs with 9 wickets to spare.
In the group’s other match, Zunheboto won against Wokha by six wickets.
Aloto Sumi took four wickets as Wokha were bowled out for 82 in 19.4 overs.
