Future generation should not be compromised, says Medo Yhokha

Dimapur, Dec. 8 (EMN): The directorate of Technical Education organised an introductory programme for Medo Yhokha, advisor to chief minister,who also holds the portfolio for Technical Education and Election departments, on Dec. 8.

Yhokha stated that technical education deals with the career of the youths, the future of the state. He therefore said that the future generation should not be compromised under any circumstance, a DIPR update stated.

Imjung M Panger, commissioner and secretary for Higher and Technical Education, highlighted the position of staff and officers in the Secretariat as well as in the Directorate. He also stressed on "streamlining the department in order to place things in the right perspective so that it will reduce the problems faced by the department," it read.

Khrieketoulie Rupreo, deputy director, gave a presentation on the main activities of the department and also highlighted priority works which need immediate attention.
