Dimapur, Nov. 3 (EMN): Kengurüse Enterprise, a fuel retail outlet in memory of captain Kengurüse, was inaugurated at Kevijau Colony, Dimapur, on November 3.

The outlet was awarded to the family of Capt. Kengurüse, recipient of Vir Chakra, by the Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.

G Ramesh, chief general manager and state head of Indian Oil AOD, expressed his happiness to see the efficiency of the team, who are working and serving the customers to their full potentials. He stated that Indian Oil is doing everything to serve its customers better and added that the company has started ‘Check and Fill Campaign’ to make the customers feel and experience the assurance of the products.

He also advised to be careful and stay safe during these trying times.
“With the unlock happening let us not be careless but follow the small precautions that we need to do,” he said adding, “unlocking for economic reasons may lead us to believe that all is well now but it is not, and there is news of second waves across the globe, and therefore we need to be vigilant and alert.”

Neingutoulie Kengrüse, brother of the late captain and also the proprietor of Kengurüse Enterprise, expressed his gratitude to the company.

Also speaking on the occasion, K V Ramanamurthy, chief general manager (operations) of Indian oil AOD, asserted that whatever ‘one talk has some value but whatever one does has the most important value’. He, therefore, stated that just mere talking is not enough.

MKK Pegoo, deputy general manager (RS) of Tinsukia DO, updated that the ‘Check and fill’ campaign was started for the customers to create awareness amongst the public for checking quality and quantity of petrol and diesel. The campaign was launched by Indian Oil across the country in view of the response received from customers. The campaign has been extended to November 30, he added.

He also mentioned that customers participating in the campaign would be rewarded with 100 Xtra reward points. Customer’s response is very positive till date. We have received 115000 responses, he said.
