Calling on young people to embrace self-worth and moral uprightness, Nakro urged students to build self-esteem and uphold integrity while pursuing a purposeful life. He pointed out that education without God becomes a clever devil while warning that a life without knowing one’s worth or maintaining it would be wasted.

In this regard, he advised the students to consider themselves as God’s masterpiece, break barriers of fear with appreciation and thankfulness, and live a respectable life.

Noting that the freshers are embarking on a new phase of life with dreams, Nakro encouraged them not to let failure determine their life pursuits but to be resilient in life, seize opportunities, and not condemn themselves in order to grow.

He also expressed concern about the lack of civic sense despite embracing Christianity, which also affects the entire society and the environment. In this regard, he emphasised the need for rethinking to chart out a better individual and society.

He said that when one has self-esteem, one also changes attitudes towards others and society by creating willingness to accept responsibilities, build an optimistic mindset, stay motivated, improve performance, and also impact the surroundings.

He, however, warned about the traits of people with low self-esteem and advised the students to be watchful of such characteristics to get rid of them. To the students, he exhorted them to be mindful about addiction and abuse of mobile phones, which are taking a toll on society, even among small children. Furthermore, Nakro told the participants to be broad-minded, be accountable in life, and live a life of integrity.
