DIMAPUR — The Dimapur Nokpu Senso Telongjem, in collaboration with the Nokpu Kaketshir Telongjem, organised free medical camps at Nokpu and Saringyim (Nokpu B) villages under Mangkolemba Sub-Division, Mokokchung district, on August 9.
The initiative was sponsored by the Nagaland Medicine Dealers Association, Dimapur, with the primary aim of addressing the health concerns of rural residents, particularly senior citizens and newborn babies, who often have limited access to proper medical facilities, stated a DIPR report.
A total of about 350 individuals from both villages benefitted from the camps, which was supported by doctors, nurses, and volunteers who provided medical consultations, check-ups, and guidance with compassion and commitment.
Medical camp convenor, Imtiniken Imchen, extended gratitude to all medical professionals, nurses, and individuals whose contributions ensured the programme’s success.
