Free medical camp at Lazami benefits over 400

Doctors, nurses, and parishioners of St. Francis of Assisi Parish during the free medical camp at Lazami, Zunheboto, on September 24.

DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Catholic Youth Movement (NCYM), in collaboration with St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Lazami, organised a free medical camp on September 24 at Lazami Village Council hall, Zunheboto district.

According to a press release, Dr. Lowrence Kithan, president of NCYM, chaired the session, while an invocation prayer was led by Fr. Paul Inashe, parish priest of St. Francis of Assisi.

Inashe expressed his gratitude to the doctors and officials of NCYM for organising the medical camp, which was inaugurated by Fr. Vekupa George, Director of NCYM.

Dr. Renthunglo Patton, MBBS, Dr. Angel K Elsa, MBBS, Dr. Ketuolelhou Vizo, MDS, Dr. Khonou Mary Belho, BAMS, Dr. Akhrieno Teresa, BDS, Dr. Kevidenu Kehie, BDS, Veronica Nriame, psychiatric social worker, NHAK, along with the medical staff and nurses from Lazami, volunteered their services for the day.

More than 400 people were examined and given free medicines prescribed by the doctors during the camp.
