
Dimapur, Sep. 4 (EMN): The Nagaland unit of the Family Planning Association (FPA) of India conducted a two-day training programme in how to make sanitary napkins, during September 2-3 at the Muskan Youth Centre in Kohima. The Nagaland unit of the FPA India issued a note on Wednesday informing about the training programme.
The trainees were imparted skills and ‘ability’ to prepare sanitary napkins, the organisers explained. “A step towards women empowerment, FPA India Nagaland branch has accomplished in providing training to the first batch of trainees after the installation of sanitary napkin making machine,’ the note stated.
