
Dimapur, Feb. 6 (EMN): Based on credible intelligence input regarding drug smuggling activity in Duncan Bosti area, AET Dimapur Police led by the officer in-charge of West Police Station launched an operation at one suspected apartment and recovered 130 gram of brown sugar concealed in 12 soap cases worth INR one crore on February 5.
A police report issued by DCP (crime) and PRO stated two persons were arrested from the location and two more drug smugglers were arrested from Khermahal and Sematila Colony.
The arrested persons were identified as Moses (39) from Chimai village in Senapati district and resident of 6th Mile, Teneiphe – I, Chümoukedima; Paul Humtsoe (41) from Sanis in Wokha and resident of Duncan Bosti, Dimapur; Martha (34) from Shirong village in Senapati and resident of Sematila, Dimapur; and Daveikho (26) from Phaipung village in Senapati and resident of Sovima village, Dimapur.
