Four NPGs form Joint Naga Political Alliance

DIMAPUR — Four Naga political groups (NPG) including Khango-led NSCN/GPRN, Akato-led NSCN/GPRN , Z Royim-led NNC (PB) and Mhathung Tsopoe-led NPGN/NNC (NA-MK) had a joint political alliance a meeting on April 4.

An update from the Joint Naga Political Alliance media cell stated that a large number of officials and members from all the four groups led by their respective collective leaders attended the meeting.

It stated that the leaders, who spoke at the meeting, reminded everyone of Nagas being a sovereign people since time immemorial. They also acknowledged the contributions made by Naga pioneers.

The members also deliberated on the necessity to form a joint Naga political alliance at this juncture that envisioned to carry on with the legacy of legendary Naga leaders and founding fathers.
