Four new Covid-19 cases reported in Nagaland

Dimapur, Jan. 17 (EMN):
Nagaland recorded four new Covid-19 positive cases on Sunday, taking the state’s tally to 12058.

“4 positive cases of Covid-19 were detected today; Dimapur, Kohima, Mokokchung and Tuensang one each. Also, 4 positive patients have recovered; Dimapur and Kohima two each,’ the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom tweeted on Sunday.

According to the information provided by the Health department, Nagaland has 116 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 101 are asymptomatic, 7 mild, four moderate on oxygen, two severe on oxygen and two on critical-ICU. The state has also recorded 11713 recoveries and 88 deaths, out of which 10 are ‘not Covid-related’.

In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Kohima leads with 56 cases, followed by Dimapur-47, Mokokchung-10, Peren-2 and Mon-1, while Kiphire, Longleng, Tuensang, Wokha, Phek and Zunheboto have zero cases.
