Four held with illicit liquor

[caption id="attachment_99072" align="aligncenter" width="560"] The three accused along with seized liquor.[/caption]   Dimapur, Feb. 19: Based on information about movement of arms dealer, 36 Assam Rifles had established a mobile vehicle check post alongwith a police representative on Sukhovi- Jalukie road on February 16. During the search operation in Mhainamtsi area, the troops intercepted a vehicle and seized 331 bottles of illegal IMFL. In this connection four persons namely- Lunsa, son of Hutana, Abon daughter of K Kariding, Sapna, daughter of Bal Bahadur and Sara, daughter of Methew Bo, all form Mukuilongdi village, Senapati district. The apprehendees confessed their involvement in transportation of illegal liquor from Assam to Nagaland. The accused alongwith recovered items were handed over to Jalukie Police Station for further investigation.
