Dimapur, Dec. 6 (EMN): After the initial elimination rounds, four contestants will vie for the coveted title ‘Naga Chef’ and win cash prize of INR 2 lakh. The four contestants are Keneilhoubei-ü Kense, Kazusangba Jamir, Yashimenla Longkumer, and Tokupu Sumi.
Naga Chef is a first of its kind culinary skills competition in Nagaland organised by Synergy Group Enterprise in partnership with the department of Tourism, Government of Nagaland.
The objective of the competition is to increase the appreciation of Nagaland’s unique indigenous cuisine and to provide a platform to entrepreneurial Naga chefs to showcase the delectable range of Naga food to the world, an update informed.
Naga Chef Season 9 continues to create a platform and space for those who love cooking and is designed to effectively support individuals who possess genuine skills for Naga indigenous cuisine preparation and those with the potential and dedication to upscale their capabilities to a higher level.
1.Keneilhoubei-ü Kense

“Just a passionate home cook trying to pursue, discover and develop my skills for the love of the culinary world. As a massive foodie I have always enjoyed cooking as a hobby.”
4.Tokupu Sumi
“I, Tokupu Sumi, am an enthusiastic individual who loves cooking, it is my passion. Most of the time I practice my cooking skills at home and it’s been eight years since I’ve been cooking and I have been running a restaurant since last year. When I am cooking, I become myself and enjoy my work.”
