Former Nagaland CM Dr. SC Jamir alive and in good health; refutes fake news

Dimapur, Nov. 13 (EMN): Rumours of veteran politician from Nagaland Dr. SC Jamir’s demise has been circulating on social media since Sunday evening.

The fake news was on ‘Dr. SC Jamir passing away at 7:15 pm at AIIMS Delhi’ on Sunday.

Refuting his death rumours, the former Chief Minister of Nagaland, shared a 50 second video from his residence in Chümoukedima. In the short clip he said: “I continue to maintain a very good health”. This is the second time in three years where fake news of Dr. SC Jamir passing away has been doing the rounds on social media.
