Ford rolls out 3S facilities in Dimapur

DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 19

With an aim to expand it sales and services and also to extend its facilities to the customers in Nagaland, American auto maker Ford launched its first 3S (Sales, Service and Spare) facility here on Wednesday.‘City Ford’ Dimapur with the 3S facility was inaugurated at 3rd Mile by Anthony Cherian Kurian, General Manager, Sales, Ford India, as the chief guest. Akheto Yepthomi is the proprietor of ‘City Ford’ Dimapur.
In his address, Kurian said the ‘City Ford’ 3S facility is spread over 40,000 square feet that will enable the company to deliver world class experience to buyers in the market along with a workshop equipped to give servicing facility to 24 cars in a day.
To provide quality services to customers, City Ford, along with the sales, offers several customer-focused initiatives like parts at sub-assembly levels for repairs, pan-India roadside assistance, 90 minute-quick service bays, mobile service bans, vehicle report and quick lane services.
“We are delighted to introduce this new facility to our customers in Dimapur. From localization to affordable spares and after-sales services initiatives like Happy Pocket Service, we are committed to go further in enhancing the ownership experience and offer peace of mind and convenience to our customers in the region,” said Kurian.
Ford has also opened City Ford in Silchar in Assam and in Manipur.
‘Ford’ today has strengthened India footprint with over 304 sales and service facilities across 164 cities from all over the country in order to enhance ownership experience through smart, safe, safe and class leading fuel-efficient products along with reliable after-sales initiatives.
As of now, City Ford Dimapur has employed 30 persons in its new venture. City Ford also awarded gifts to the first three customers who visited the showroom later in the evening today.
The inaugural function was followed by a cultural dance performed by Nikhekhu Village Cultural Club.
