Dimapur, June 24 (EMN): A footpath at East Police Station, Dimapur, constructed under Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) was inaugurated on Saturday by Advisor of Urban Development, SI Jamir.
Calling for efficient implementation of various central projects in the State, Jamir appealed the citizens for cooperation as the efforts of the Department alone would not be enough for accomplishment of any project. Accentuating that specific period is provided for taking up projects, the legislator said AMRUT scheme is time bound and it seeks to transform existing towns and cities.

He has sought the cooperation from the people in order to take full advantage of the scheme. The footpath management comes under Urban transportation, informed the department secretary.
