Food processing training underway in Darogajan

President of Dimapur District GBs’ Association (DDGBA) and the special guest, Khehovi Chophy, formally declared the month-long training opened. Speaking on the occasion, Khehovi Chophy lauded the organisers for providing an opportunity to the unemployed youth to gain skills through the training and make them stand on their own feet. He has assured all possible assistance from the GBs to such organisations or groups that are putting in effort to give training to the enthusiastic youth, dropouts and women to succeed in life. He also urged the banks and other agencies to extend help the genuine entrepreneurs. In conclusion, Khehovi encouraged the participants to make the best use of the skills that would be taught to them during the training. Delivering a short speech, Albert Gangte, SIDBI Branch Manager, Dimapur, said such trainings are a stepping stone towards successful business ventures. He stated that banks are willing to give opportunities to those who are equipped and committed to succeed as entrepreneurs. Gaon Bura of Darogajan village, Projeshwar Langthasa, and CAN Youth chief functionary, Jenpu Rongmei, also spoke on the occasion. The training would be conducted by Krishna Gogoi, founder and director of Pathikrit Foundation, Jorhat, and Botoshe Kasho. The launching programme was conducted by Faihamti Longmailai, project coordinator of 3E Space, CAN Youth, and Kivitoli K Sema, CAN Youth secretary, proposed vote of thanks.
