Flying Rabbits lifts 1st Champions T-20 trophy

Dimapur, Feb. 24 (EMN): Flying Rabbits defeated Police Baptist Church Chumoukedima to lift the 1st Champions Trophy T-20 cricket tournament held  in Chumoukedima town.

Playing the final match, Flying Rabbits CC defeated Police Baptist Church Chumkedima by three wickets. Police Baptist Church Chumoukedima batted first, setting a target of 200 runs losing three wickets in 20 overs. Playing Rabbits managed to achieve the target by losing seven wickets in 18.2 overs. Nayan was adjudged man of the final match for scoring 28 runs.

Champions Flying Rabbits received a cash award of INR 50,000 with trophy, while runner-up Police Baptist Church Chumoukedima won INR  25,000 with trophy.

The individual prize winners were BSCT Kushiabill for fair play team: Suraj Mech of BSCT Khusiabill for best wicket keeper: Gopilal of BSCT Khusiabill for highest wicket taker: Jitu of Police Baptist Church Chumoukedima for highest run scorer. Player of the tournament went to Viketuolie Solo of Diphupar CC. The individual awardees also received cash prizes.
