‘Flame of change’ conducts medical camp at Lakhuti village

Dimapur, Sep. 9 (EMN): With an objective to provide health care to the rural populace, a group known by the name, Dongphi Milon (flame of change) carried out free medical camp at Lakhuti village in Wokha district on Sep. 8.

The group said it was committed to provide urban health care in rural areas and joined hands with doctors specialised in various field to conduct the camp.

According to the updates, 652 cases were registered during the camp. During the camp medicine worth INR 1.5 lac. were distributed while few patients were referred for further treatment.

Meanwhile, the Dongphi Milon chairman, Dr. Thungbemo Humtsoe expressed gratitude to the village chairman, the district’s chief medical officer and doctors, and health workers who rendering their services. He also thanked Faith Hospital Dimapur for providing medicines for the patients.
