Five villages in Nagaland achieve 100% Covid vaccination

Dimapur, June 23(EMN): More villages in Nagaland have achieved 100% vaccination with first dose of Covishield for eligible beneficiaries.

The villages that have achieved the feat so far in Nagaland include Lhuvishe old village, Shangsa village, Yali village, Moalenden village and Aoyimkum village.

“More villages (Yali, Moalenden, Aoyimkum, Lhuvishe old) are getting 100% of eligible beneficiaries for Covid-19 vaccinated. They are showing the way in our fight against the pandemic,” tweeted MyGovNagaland, the official Twitter handle of Nagaland government, on Wednesday.

It may be mentioned that all eligible beneficiaries of Lhuvishe old village under Zunheboto district received the first dose of Covid vaccine by June 21. Shangsa village in Mon district also achieved 100% vaccination on June 22.
