Five arrested in Mokokchung under NDPS Act

MOKOKCHUNG — The Mokokchung Police apprehended five individuals during a routine checking and frisking of vehicle at IOC area in Sungkomen Ward on June 19. The arrested persons have been identified as Imotongdang, Impojong, Akumsashi, Moazulu and Moakumzuk. They were found to be in possession of suspected brown sugar/ heroin. A police report stated that a case in this connection has been registered at Mokokchung Police Station-II vide MKG PS-I C/No.010 /23 Under section 21 (B)/ 27 Narcotic-Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act R/W 34 IPC for further investigation.
