DIMAPUR — The First Naga Baptist Church (FNBC), Texas, organised a Naga cultural exhibition in Dallas Fort Worth, Texas, on October 7, with Rev. Isaac Jojo, Secretary General, Naga Public Organisation, Myanmar, as the chief guest.

According to a press release, the main goal of organising the event was to share the rich culture of the Nagas with the rest of the world.

Jojo said on the occasion that despite the many geographical divisions in Naga inhabited areas, the Nagas are always one.

In his welcome speech, FNBC pastor Lanu Lemtur said that while the Nagas have a rich culture to share with the world, the most important message is how they transformed from headhunters to soul winners.

The programme included ethnic Naga dances, Naga folk songs, and an exhibition of Naga attire, ornaments, memorabilia, and artefacts. Nagaland Chambers Choir founder Kughaho Chishi led the congregation in singing a couple of Naga indigenous songs.

In his vote of thanks, Chuingchan Shokwungnao expressed gratitude to all FNBC participants and well-wishers, and emphasised the importance of our God-given culture.
