DIMAPUR — The inaugural biannual meeting of the Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC), Dimapur, took place at the Assam Rifles Training Centre and School, Shokhuvi, on Thursday, under the chairmanship of Chairman Narakas Brig. Raman Sharma, SM.
According to a press release, 23 members of central government offices, banks, and undertakings situated in Dimapur participated in the meeting, and they presented their feedback on official work in Hindi in their respective offices.
Assessing the progress regarding the implementation of Hindi in central government offices in Dimapur, Sharma stressed the importance of progressively using Hindi. He also emphasised that Hindi should be encouraged through incentives and inspiration in all central government offices.
Additionally, he suggested that all TOLIC members attend the meetings to enhance their effectiveness.
