Fire razes 15 houses in Half Nagarjan

Eastern Mirror Desk Dimapur, May 28: A fire that broke out late on May 27 burned down around 15 houses at Nimedo Sakhrie colony, Kuda village in Half Nagarjan, Dimapur. Officials from Dimapur fire station informed that they received the call informing about the fire at around 10:13 pm. The damage caused was estimated at INR 4-5 lakh. According to the president of Kuda Youth Council (KYC), Vikeduo Linyu, the affected families lost ‘everything.’ He informed that the children affected by the fire were set to appear exams but their books were all burned in the incident. Linyu informed that the KYC provided rice, pulses and vegetables to the affected families. No loss of life was reported.
