Dimapur, September 23: To promote the cause of financial literacy / inclusion, a one-day Financial Literacy Camp (FLC) supported under FIF managed by NABARD was conducted at Mekuli village today.
It was organized by Care and Support Society, Mokokchung in collaboration with Nagaland State Cooperative Bank Ltd. Mokokchung sponsored by NABARD.
Programme was chaired by Imchawati Kichu, Managing Director, Care and Support Society, welcome address was addressed by Lima Pastor Mekuli Baptist Church. Welcome address was addressed by Imnawati Chairman Mekuli Village Council. During the programme, S. Amarjit Mangang, DDM, NABARD shared the role played by NABARD in financial inclusion. He further shared in detail the Farmers Club, SHG, WCC & JLG Programme and role of NABARD in creating critical infrastructure in the district. Temsulepden, Assistant Branch Manager & In charged FLC, NSCB Ltd, Mokokchung, shared the importance of banking, savings, financial planning. He shared on various financial services offered by the banks for the general public. He further highlighted PMJDY, PMSBY, PMJJBY and APY in details.
