Dimapur, April 30 (EMN): Finance department bade farewell to its retiring officers namely Chubakatila Jamir, additional secretary and Kekhwezo Kepfo, joint secretary on April 30 on completion of 35 years of service. A press release received from the departed on Monday informed.
Speaking at the farewell programme, V Kezo, OSD (general) said that it was a blessing for the two officers to be retiring in good health. He described Kekhwezo Kepfo as a very amenable to work with and an officer who had personal respect for each of his colleagues. Kezo also commented that Chubakatila Jamir was a sincere and hard working officer.
Secretary of the department, Kikheto Sema in his speech recalled his association with Kepfo who is stated to have a long inning of 30 years in Finance department and lauded his commendable service. Sema appreciated Jamir positive attitude towards work and her sincerity.
Advisor Finance, RC Acharjee, also spoke on the occasion. He thanked the two retiring officers for their contributions to the department and wished them well on their retirement.
The retiring officers in their speeches thanked God and expressed gratitude to the department the staff for their cooperation and support during their service.
