Fifth Note releases debut album ‘Here We Are’
DIMAPUR — Fifth Note from Kohima released its debut full-length album ‘Here We Are’ globally by Frontiers Music SRL, Italy on Dec. 8.
An update from the band manager, Kiredilie Kire, issued on Friday, informed that the band which was formed in 2019, is a newly signed band from the Italy based Frontiers label.
Like many other bands of the genre, Fifth Note is said to have started performing with cover songs including songs from label mates such as Stryper and Circus Maximus and also bands like Dream Theater, Guns N Roses, AC/DC, Journey and so on.
The band released their original ‘Misfortune’ and ‘Here We Are’ singles in the year 2021. With those original songs released, the band gained prominence amongst the music lovers that gave them inspiration to pursue further.
The band has performed live at numerous events and programmes and has also won several awards.
Their original music piqued the interest from the Frontiers label which works hard to scout the most exciting musical talents around the globe and it resulted in “Here We Are”: the band’s debut full length album. The record also includes Fifth Note debut singles and a superbly crafted set of Hard Rock songs with a Progressive Metal edge. The band is active in promoting good time music with no use of drugs, alcohol or things of that sort, the update informed.
The band members include: Samuel Thapa as the vocalist, Khriekethozo Sekhose (Gugu) as the guitarist, Jubito Swu (Jubi) on the bass, Rüüvolie Kire (Avolie) on the drums and Sheduto Kezo as the keyboardist.
The band is managed by Kiredilie Kire and run all affairs of the band with Metsive Kezo as the Media Manager.
The band manager has expressed gratitude to Infinite Records, The Big Old Sun, Headlights, Shehü Production, Out Loud Inc, Auto Kings, Music Gym, Chromatic Clef and well-wishers for the success of the album.
The album consists of 11 songs and a bonus track exclusively for Japan.
