FIA taekwondo coach to represent India in South Korea

Dimapur, July 2 (EMN): Deep Kumar, founder and coach of Faith in Action (FIA) Taekwondo Academy, Nagaland along with Vijay Kumar Soma of Somafit World Taekwondo Academy, Hyderabad, Telangana will represent India at the 2022 International Taekwondo Masters and Poom/Dan examiner license course, organised by Kukkiwon, World Taekwondo Academy at Taekwondowon (Muju), South Korea from July 7 to the 15th.

The duo will leave for South Korea on July 6 from Hyderabad, a press release from FIA informed.

It may be mentioned that under Kumar, the FIA Taekwondo Academy players won world champion title at the World Taekwondo Hanmadang Championship in taekwondo aerobic at Pohang, South Korea in 2014 and in 2015, the academy got the most valuable players award by winning seven medals in the World Taekwondo Hanmadang Championship at Pyeongtaek City, South Korea.
