Faith in Action Taekwondo Academy, Nagaland has become the first the State to be recognized by World Martial Arts Council from United Kingdom as an official Taekwondo Academy.
The academy is headed by International Instructor/Examiner Master Deep Kumar, and has been granted official status and the right to participate in World Martial Arts Championships organized by the Council.
It may be mentioned that Faith in Action Taekwondo Academy has received ‘Certificate of Recognition’ on March 3, 2015, after declaring the objectives of the Academy for developing, promoting and organizing Martial Arts sporting events in India. Faith in Action Taekwondo Academy has also been official recognition from Kukkiwon, the World Taekwondo Headquarter, Seoul, South Korea in October 2014 and has been authorised to conduct Black Belt test under the supervision of Kukkiwon. So far, the Academy has the strength of more than 600 Taekwondo players covering the state of Assam, Tripura and Nagaland. The academy has also produced many National and International players till date.
The Faith in Action Taekwondo Academy is planning to reconstruct an International Martial Arts Academy with hostel facility at Y. Zhimo Colony, Dimapur, stated Deep Kumar (Black Belt 4th Dan) while adding today’s youth are in need of Taekwondo sports so as to keep one’s body healthy and alert both physically and mentally.
“It is largely to our credit that we have gained recognition from two International Organizations stated by the Founder”, Kumar added.
