FGN mourns demise

Dimapur, Nov. 10 (EMN): Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) has mourned the untimely demise of Küvecholü, wife of its former Naga army commander-in-chief Lieut. Gen. Südure Chizo, who passed away on November 9 at her native Phek village.

A condolence message from the Naga army commander-in-chief, Tavecho Lala, stated that she had rendered her valuable service and constantly supported to her husband. He has also described her as a devoted woman having the zeal to serve the nation.

While lamenting her loss, he stated her true sacrifice and support for the nation would remain alive in the hearts of every Naga. He has further conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed to the Almighty God to grant them peace and solace in their hour of grief.
