DIMAPUR — Fazl Ali College held the college students' union (FACSU) election for the session 2023-2024 on August 25 using a secret ballot system managed by the teaching faculty. The candidates with the most votes were then screened by the teachers for various executive positions.

For the session 2023-24, Asensor Jamir (B.A. 3rd semester) has been elected as general secretary, Andrew W Ngullie (B.Sc. 3rd semester) as assistant general secretary, Tolibo (B.A. 5th semester) as games and sports secretary, Sentichuba (B.A. 1st semester) as assistant games and sports secretary, Moatemsu R Ao (B.A. 3rd semester) as social service secretary, Imlimenla Ao (B.Sc. 1st semester) as assistant social service secretary, Vivono Luho (B.A. 3rd semester) as fine arts and literary secretary, Imtilong (B.A. 1st semester) as assistant fine arts and literary secretary, Kinivi M Kinny (B.A. 5th semester) as assistant magazine secretary, Aosen Amer (B.Sc. 5th semester) as boys welfare secretary, and Nochetinla (B.Sc. 5th semester) as girls welfare secretary.

It was decided that the principal, I Wati Imchen, who is also the president of FACSU, was to nominate the candidate for the posts of vice president and magazine secretary, which were not filled during the election.
