MOKOKCHUNG — Fazl Ali College in Mokokchung bade farewell to its outgoing head of Political Science department, Dr. Phyobenthung, who was transferred on promotion as the principal to Peren Government College, during a programme held in the college conference hall on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, the college’s principal, Dr. I Wati Imchen, described Dr. Phyobenthung as an academician who is true to his profession and congratulated him on his promotion. Dr. Imchen also highlighted the contributions made by Dr. Phyobenthung towards the FAC journal and his leadership in the seminar committee.

He also shared his visions for Peren Government College and sought guidance and blessings in his new endeavours to bring about changes in the college and also in the higher education department.
Dr. Imliwati, assistant professor of Chemistry and president of Fazl Ali College Teachers’ Association (FACTA), and Dr. E Benrithung Patton, assistant professor of Political Science, also spoke on the occasion.
