DIMAPUR — An essay competition was organised by the Department of Ao, Fazl Ali College to celebrate International Mother Language Day on February 21.
According to an update, the aim of the programme was to sensitise and create awareness among the participants about the mother tongue as a medium of instruction.
It highlighted the need to undertake measures to preserve, promote, and initiate mother language use in both social and academic spheres.
