[dropcap]F[/dropcap]arewell reception ceremony in honour of Dr. Temsuwati, Additional Development Commissioner was held on February 27.
Neiba Kronu, Parliamentary Secretary, Planning; R B Thong, Additional Chief Secretary and Development Commissioner and Mhonbemo Patton, Commissioner and Secretary, Planning spoke on the occasion.
Farewell speeches were also delivered by Nosazol Charles; Deputy Development Commissioner on behalf of the Department of Planning and Coordination while on behalf of the Planning Association was delivered by Augustine, Assistant Development Commissioner. Assistant Development Commissioner, Zhothose Kraho, spoke on behalf of the district officers and staff.The outgoing Additional Development Commissioner Dr. Temsuwati delivering his farewell speech appreciated a galaxy of prolific officers and staff working as a team. Recollecting his many years of service life, he shared his experiences on the developmental challenges faced by the State. Also, giving credits to officers and staff he said “it is because of you all, I am more than I am!”.
Special numbers was presented by Imsumeren, Assistant Planning Officer, Medikrienou; Imsumeren, Planning Assistant and Motsuthung, Section Officer.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by Aolemla Jamir, Joint Development Commissioner and Er. Mhathung Kithan, Project Coordinator, GIS and Remote Sensing Centre, proposed the vote of thanks. The ceremony was followed by farewell dinner at Hotel Japfu, Kohima.
