Faith in Action team wins 32 medals

EMN Dimapur, January 4 The Faith in Action Taekwondo academy has reached Nagaland winning 32 medals in All India Open National Taekwondo Championship 2013 which was organized by Taekwondo Board of India at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi on December 30 and 31. All together 27 States of India participated with the strength of 1750 players competed in the 2 days mega National Taekwondo Championship. The Faith in Action Taekwondo Academy has swept the Runner’s Up Trophy and a cash prize of Rs.11, 000, winning 10 Gold medals, 12 Silver medals and 10 Bronze medals in Kharogi (Sparring) and Poomsae (Patterns) Competition respectively in the Championship and made history in the first ever from Nagaland. The Gold Medal winners in male and female category are: 1) Toshimeren Imchen 2) Sanjay Chetri 3) Swuto Assumi 4) Lokivi Aye 5) Toluho Yeptho 6) Anish Chhetry 7) Alice Chishi 8) Sherry Jindal 9) Monika Rai 10) Diana Chishi The Silver Medal winners in male and female category are: 1) Thejaser Kevichusa 2) Altab Uddin Choudhury 3) Shaibal Sutradhar 4) Tokavi Yeptho 5) Calvin A. Raja 6) Riyon Dutt Pandey 7) Bohoto Achumi 8) Sanjay Chetri 9) Kevin Chishi 10) Daksh 11) Tanishq 12) Mary Chishi The Bronze Medal winners in male and female category are: 1) Hutoka Yepthomi 2) L. Inausana Singha 3) Ikugha Yepthomi 4) Edwin Joy 5) Ankit Chhetry 6)  Nasher Uddin Choudhury 7) Jon Chishi 8) Ayush Ghosh 9) Carne A. Raja 10) Diana Chishi Husheto Zhimomi, Bendangmeren Imsong,  Ghointo Chophy and Alice Chishi were the referees from Nagaland in the Open National Taekwondo Championship 2013. The Faith in Action team has presented a stunning Taekwondo demonstration in the opening ceremony where Grand Master Lee Jong Hee, South Korea, Kikkiwon, World Taekwondo Headquarter and Master Sandeep Surya, President, Taekwondo Board of India congratulated and appreciated the team for their performance.
