Faith in Action team to represent India

The Faith in Action Foundation of Nagaland has been appointed to represent India officially by the Taekwondo Board of India in the forthcoming World Hanmadang Taekwondo Championship at Seoul, South Korea from August 27 to 31. The competition is organized by World Taekwondo Federation in Kukkiwon, the WTF headquarters, every year where 202 countries participate in the 5-day mega event. The World Taekwondo Hanmadang Championship was first held on December 9, 1992 to promote and expand the base of taekwondo by seeking harmonization and unification of taekwondo family by developing self defence skills, body training and movements. The prestigious festival of taekwondo family is held every year in South Korea.
This is for the first time that Faith in Action team has been nominated by TBI-National Selection Board to represent the country in the international arena for competition after 40 years of introduction of taekwondo in India.
Altogether 16 members of Faith in Action team will represent India headed by Deep Kumar, founder/coach of the team. Other members of the team are Benjamin Yepthomi, president, Ghonito Chophy, team manager,. Husheto Zhimomi, Theja Kevichusa, Sanjay Chetri, Toshimeren Imchen, Inausana, Toluho Yeptho, Bohoto Achumi, Jackson Rongmei, Lokivi Aye, Washim, Pankaj Das, Monika and Alice.
In this regard, the Faith in Action Foundation will bring out a ruffle draw and asked its members and well-wishers to support the team for this upcoming World Championship.
