Dimapur, Oct. 22 (EMN): The Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVK) Peren, ICAR RC for NEH region, Nagaland Centre, Jalukie conducted a training programme for extension functionaries on livestock-based integrated farming system at KVK Peren office on October 21 and the 22nd.

During the technical session, Dr. L Babita Devi, in-charge head, elaborated about the integrated farming system and different livestock based IFS models, while Z James Kikon, SMS (Soil Sc) delivered a lecture on integrated farming system approach for doubling farmer’s income, an update informed.

As a part of the training, expert-participant interaction was also held.  Altogether 18 anganwadi workers from Samzuiram, New Jalukie, Mhainamtsi and Nkwareu attended the programme.
