The Expert Committee, constituted by President of India in the capacity of Visitor of Nagaland University under Section 9 (2) of the Nagaland University Act 1989, comprising Prof. Pramod Tandon and Prof.
Mahendra P. Lama, former Vice Chancellor of North Eastern Hill University and Sikkim University will visit Nagaland University besides colleges and institutions from May 20 to 24.According to a notification issued by PK Mohanty, Deputy Educational Advisor of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Higher Education, Government of India, the Committee will review the work and progress of Nagaland University and submit its report containing suggestions/ recommendations within three months from the date of the notification for consideration of the Visitor.
The Vice Chancellor, the Registrar, the Finance Officer and all officials of Nagaland University shall extend necessary assistance and records to the Committee during the process of examination and preparation of the report, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Higher Education, Government of India, sources said.
