Expenditure observer inspects functioning for poll

Dimapur, Feb. 2 (EMN): Expenditure Observer Dr. S Periyannan for Kiphire district along with District Election Officer, Kiphire Mohammed Ali Shihab and retuning officers, inspected the functioning of various expenditure monitoring teams. Updates from administration informed about the programme on Fri.
Before the inspection, the observer interacted with various stakeholders who are involved in the election expenditure monitoring such as Excise, Income Tax, and Police departments among others.
Training was also imparted to all the teams and shared views and modalities while functioning in the field.
The district administration has activated all the teams related to election expenditure monitoring for the forth coming election, it informed.

District Election Officer, Mon K Thavaseelan has informed general public of Mon district and political parties that for the conduct of the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly Elections, expenditure observers have been deployed by the Election Commission of India (ECI). District Election Officer, Mon K Thavaseelan has informed general public of Mon district and political parties that for the conduct of the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly Elections, expenditure observers have been deployed by the Election Commission of India (ECI). The appointed expenditure observers are Saravana Perumal P (IRS) (contact no. 9862870142) for Tizit 41st, Naginimora 42nd and Tapi 43rd assembly constituencies; Mohan Lal Sukhpal (IRS) (contact no. 7630876183) for Phomching 44th, Tehok 45th, and Mon town 46th assembly constituencies; and  NSParthasarathy (IRS) (contact no.9862871050) for Aboi 47th, Moka 48th, and Tobu 55th assembly constituencies.In another notification, the DEO also informed all political parties and candidates that the expenditure register inspection for the elections has been scheduled on Feb. 16 – 1st inspection; Feb. 20 – 2nd inspection; and Feb. 24 – 3rd inspection.
