Dimapur, Feb. 14 (EMN): The retuning officer of 40th assembly constituency Bhandari, conducted election expenditure monitoring training for candidates and agents on Feb. 13 at the additional deputy commissioner’s conference hall, Bhandari. DPRO updated on Wednesday.
During the training, he stressed on acquisition of permission and exemption of vehicles for use for the purpose of election. Permission and no objection certificate should be obtained from him for all campaign related programmes such as rally and meeting by candidates, political parties or star campaigner within the constituency, RO informed. Reminding that all expenditure reflected on a candidate will be routed from the amount of the candidate’s separate bank account, the officer advised them to carefully maintain the account.
Informing that the time schedule has been provided in a systematic manner for each candidate for expenditure monitoring updates, he urged the candidates / agents to observe and submit their expected expenditure updates on the scheduled time.
