Dimapur, Sep. 15 (EMN): The department of Excise, Dimapur district intercepted a vehicle carrying bottles of assorted IMFL at Chumoukedima check gate on September 15. Around 240 bottles were recovered on frisking the vehicle at around 7:20 am, an update informed.
In this connection, one individual has been arrested and booked under the relevant sections of the NLTP Act 1989. The consignment was meant for Kiphire, it stated.
Vigil has been intensified at the various gates for any illegal shipment of contraband, it added.
