Etsujhuka Youth League, Juggernauts qualify for WCC semi-finals

Wokha, Jan. 14 (EMN): Etsujhuka Youth League (EYL) and Juggernauts registered wins in their respective matches at the ongoing 25th edition of Winter Cricket Challenge in Wokha on Thursday. Both the teams have qualified for the semi-final round.
In the first match of the day, Mavericks ‘B’ won the toss against EYL and elected to bat first.
Mavericks ‘B’ hit a target of 107 runs in 20 overs at 5.35 RPO.
EYL displayed an amazing batting performance and won the match by two wickets.
Phyodemo Ngullie, who claimed two wickets and took four catches, was named the Man of the Match.
In the second match of the day, Juggernauts Cricket Club ‘A’ won the toss against Lancer Cricket Club and elected to bat first.
Juggernauts ‘A’ hit a target of 137 runs at 6.85 RPO in 20 overs.
Mhajan Patton, the fourth batsman, made a notable contribution and saved the innings by smashing 33 runs in 48 balls. Juggernauts ‘A’ won the match by 33 runs.
Man of the match award in the second match was claimed by Mhajan Patton. The award was handed over by Yanrenthung M Humtsoe, Nagaland senior cricketer and philanthropist.
