DIMAPUR — The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Dimapur, is set to host ‘Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0’, an outreach and awareness programme, at Holy Cross School auditorium, Church Road, Dimapur, on February 27 at 10 am.
The initiative aims to facilitate stakeholder engagement, address grievances and enhance awareness of EPFO schemes and digital services, stated an update.
The Regional Provident Fund Commissioner–II, Dimapur, Samuel Das, along with Enforcement Officer Kallal Bhattacharjee and other officials, will personally hear grievances from workers, employers and industry representatives. The session will provide handholding support to employees and establishments requiring assistance with provident fund-related matters.
The programme will cover key aspects such as filing grievances – guidance on submitting complaints via EPiGMS, CPGRAMS and other grievance redressal portals; digital services and fraud prevention – educating stakeholders on e-nomination, online claim filing and KYC updates in UAN and the Principal Employer Dashboard.
The session will also focus on employee rights and employer responsibilities – ensuring compliance with social security provisions, including provident fund, pension and insurance benefits. The programme will also have a pension help desk to resolve pension-related grievances on the spot.
EPFO has urged subscribers, pensioners, establishments, employee representatives and industrial chambers to actively participate. Employers are encouraged to extend social security benefits to all eligible employees from the first day of employment.
The Employees’ Pension Scheme (1995) and the Employees’ Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme (1976), offering coverage up to INR 7 lakh, have been available to workers in the state of Nagaland. Stakeholders are invited to provide feedback and suggestions during the session to further improve EPFO’s services.
