ENSUK KCK observes freshers’ social

Dimapur, Aug. 14 (EMN): Eastern Naga Students’ Union, Kohima College, Kohima (ENSU KCK) observed its 10th freshers’ social on August 12 at Ura Academy Hall, Kohima, on the theme “Confluence through education.”
The union press release stated that Longri Chang, president of Eastern Naga College Students’ Union (ENCSU) graced the occasion as the guest speaker and Thinglise Sangtam, vice president of Sangtam Students’ Union Kohima (SSUK) was the special invitee.

Speaking on the occasion, Longri Chang stressed on living with unity irrespective of tribes and jurisdiction and to maintain strict discipline as a student.

Special invitee Thinglise Sangtam, speaking on the occasion, emphasised on living with trust, respect and love. He also stressed on pros and cons of technology in the modern era and to make good use of mobile phones which otherwise could spoil one’s life.

Lemei was the chairperson of the programme. Kimiyeli said the invocation prayer, while Lithrongpa, union president, delivered the presidential address and Meno E, statistical secretary, read out the statistical report. Yakap, vice president, delivered the vote of thanks and Kongpe, speaker, said the benediction prayer.
